The Partnership Board will meet in public four times a year and will rotate these meetings across the combined area of Fareham and Gosport, Isle of Wight, North Hampshire and South Eastern Hampshire.
These meetings in public give residents the opportunity to find out about the work of the Partnership and see how decisions are made for the improved health and wellbeing for the local population. They are not public meetings, but rather an opportunity for the public to see the work of the Partnership Board in action. There are a variety of different ways we engage with the public, which can be found on our 'Listening to You' pages.
On 28th March 2020, Amanda Pritchard Chief Operating Officer, NHS England & NHS Improvement wrote to NHS providers and commissioners outlining ways for them to free up as much capacity as possible to enable us to prioritise our workload to focus on doing what was necessary to manage the response to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Since this point, the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Partnership of Clinical Commissioning Groups have been operating a lean committee structure. The meetings of all of our Governing Bodies and sub committees have been taking place virtually with focused agendas recognising that decisions needed to be taken quickly.
This approach has meant that there were fewer committee meetings and fewer formal papers being presented.
As we move into a restoration and recovery phase, we want to continue with our commitment to transparent decision making about how we operate our services and use our funds.
Over the coming weeks, papers and agendas will begin to be added to our website as meetings take place. A retrospective summary of the meetings that have been held since March and the items considered will also be made available.
We will keep this under review and update this page with future meeting dates when they are arranged.
