A key role of the Communications and Engagement team, which covers a number of local CCGs, is to work with the media by responding to enquiries about major health issues of the day.
We provide news and information on NHS North Hampshire CCG's key decisions and activities – by writing and distributing news releases and statements to targeted media, including the trade press, and by proactively encouraging the media to help us engage with residents in the area.
We offer professional advice on media-handling issues, write communication strategies, organise interviews, photocalls and news conferences, and keep our senior managers and non-executive directors in touch with the issues making the news. We’re also responsible for internal communications.
Communications is the first port of call for media enquiries. We will either respond to your enquiry direct or arrange interviews with our staff.
