We have started a recruitment process to bring together 2,000 people across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight to give us a representative panel of citizens who can help shape our future health and care services. By committing a small amount of time, our organisations will be able to reach out to ask for feedback, information, views and comments to help them plan, deliver and improve services.
To make sure we have a wide range of views from people from different geographic areas within Hampshire and the Isle of Wight, our staff will be recruiting volunteers over a number of months and at a number of different locations. Keep an eye out!

Over the next few months we will be supporting the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Sustainability and Transformation Partnership in extending the ways in which we involve people by introducing an online Citizens’ Panel.
The Hampshire and Isle of Wight-wide panel will be a way for local people to share their views on a range of health and care topics and will help us reach an even wider selection of our population. This exciting development will be an opportunity for us to hear from those people with whom we don’t often speak due to a variety of reasons such as their availability, accessibility issues and time constraints.
Our group of local 'voices' will help us better understand the views of the local community on health and care topics and will help us to continually improve and develop health and care services that match local need. |
If you decide to join up how often you get involved is entirely up to you. You will be invited to participate, as a minimum, in four surveys each year, up to a maximum of 12. They should only take about ten minutes to complete. We are also looking fro people to be actively involved in providing their feedback face to face at workshops and focus groups.
Check back soon for more information about how to join this programme.
